Forrester Predictions 2020: CIO Report

For CIOs across the globe, 2020 is predicted to be one of the most challenging years yet—but also a great window of opportunity. Analyst firm Forrester polled more than 150 CIOs at companies involved in digital transformation processes and concluded that the most senior technology executives inside an organization can benefit from a significant chance to step forward as business leaders in 2020.

The survey resulted in a key report that also laid out five specific predictions, including:

• CIOs will automate 10% of their IT tasks and look to upskill displaced personnel
• CIOs will push for bigger corporate data strategy and tech budgets
