With Domopalooza 2017 just around the corner, you’ve probably already perused the lineup of impressive speakers, registered for some break-out sessions, and possibly even looked at Utah’s weather forecast (bluebird days FTW!). Now – it’s time to pack.
We’ve created an essentials list to save you from last-minute ponderings about what coat to bring, how many shoes you’ll need, and what gear you need to ski. Follow these tips and you’ll be more than ready for whatever comes your way during our four-day fun fest.
The clothes.
Because Domopalooza is a mix of business, networking, and entertainment, you’ll need a little of everything. Your challenge (should you choose to accept it) is to streamline these wardrobe essentials into one carry-on bag. You can do it.
What to bring:
- At least three business casual outfits for keynotes and breakout sessions.
- A light jacket for mild—and sometimes unpredictable—spring weather.
- A change of clothes for the concerts. Our entertainment line-up includes Miguel, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Jason Derulo, and Kesha, and so definitely pack something you can move in – because this party won’t stop and you won’t want to either.
The tech gear.
You’re tech users, we’re a tech company. You can expect Domopalooza to be plugged in and easy to follow on every social platform. Connect with us via @domotalk before you arrive, and download the Domopalooza 2017 App beforehand to ensure you don’t miss a thing.
What to bring:
- Your laptop
- Your mobile device
- Charging cords, power packs, and/or extra batteries
The ski gear.
Every year we wrap up Domopalooza with a day of skiing at Snowbird. It’s an awesome way to take in Utah’s beautiful mountains – and ski some of the best powder in the country. Better yet: we make it easy. You don’t need to rent skis or a board; your Domopalooza pass covers that. But you do want to make sure you’re comfortable on the slopes.
What to bring:
- A wicking base layer to keep you warm and dry
- A light mid-layer that you can shed if needed (light-weight fleece or a thin down coat works great)
- Waterproof jacket and snow pants
- Hat (you can also rent a helmet)
- Gloves
- Ski socks
- Goggles
This year’s Domopalooza is shaping up to be the best yet, and we’re looking forward to seeing you there. For more information on the conference, check out our Domopalooza FAQs.
