Overcoming COVID: How Domo’s Vaccination Tracker helps
By Ben Schein, SVP of Product

On the same day President Joe Biden announced that all adults in the U.S. are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine, we rolled out our Vaccination Tracker, which offers the latest information on the number of people that have been vaccinated around the world.
Why did we launch such a resource? For the same reason we launched our COVID-19 Tracker last year: to give individuals and organizations the real-time data they need to make critical decisions with confidence.
We all want to move past this pandemic and achieving herd immunity is obviously a major key to doing just that.
Thanks to the Vaccination Tracker, which is free of charge and powered by statistics gathered multiple times per day by the CDC and Our World In Data, we can begin to see which regions—from all U.S. states to countries all around the world—are moving closer to herd immunity and which ones are on a slower pathway.
Domo’s Vaccination Tracker gives individuals and organizations the real-time data they need to make critical decisions with confidence.
The tracker also allows users to interact with data that is relevant to them, and to easily embed components of the tool on, say, their company’s homepage.
In other words, the Vaccination Tracker works a lot like the COVID-19 Tracker, which, I should add, is one of just five projects in the running for a coveted Webby Award in the “Apps and Software: Data Management” category.
To experience yet another example of what makes Domo’s modern BI platform a model of agility, click here. And do make a note to return soon; the tracker will evolve over the coming weeks to include even more insights.
