Today we made the decision to transform Domopalooza 2020 from an in-person event for 3,000 people in Salt Lake City, Utah, to one that is 100% digital. We’re calling it Domopalooza LIVE & On-Demand.

Over the past several weeks, we’ve been monitoring CDC updates. We’ve also been ensuring our business continuity plans are in place while taking steps to minimize the risk of COVID-19 to our customers, employees, and the communities in which we do business. Some of these steps have included work-from-home policies in regions where there is high risk for community spread.

News has been changing daily, and we believe this latest precaution is the right thing for all our stakeholders.

Domopalooza is all about helping customers go fast, go big, and go bold—and we’ll be shaping our online event in the same spirit.

In addition to all the great keynotes, product announcements, and product education, Domopalooza LIVE & On-Demand gives us an opportunity to digitally bring attendees on location to incredible customer workplaces, where they can get behind-the-scenes views into how Domo is changing the way these companies are running their businesses.

All this will happen on March 18, the day of our originally scheduled opening session.

Since we’ll be bringing Domopalooza to customers—instead of having customers come to Domopalooza—we are recommending everyone take a few steps, from cancelling flights and hotels to telling us how they’d like us to repurpose or refund their passes.

While this virtual event is being produced out of an abundance of caution and care, we’re still excited to deliver the great lineup of content and product announcements we have planned to help customers go fast, go big, and go bold.

Stay tuned for more information.
