Developing a Bias for Action: Moving from Static KPIs to Action-Based Analytics
Being truly data-driven means moving beyond exploratory dashboards to empowering teams to take action based on data. In this roundtable, we’ll explore how different types of organizations – from healthcare to media to state governments – are leading the way to optimize their teams, culture, and data itself for action. We’ll also discuss how norm-shattering events such as the pandemic have driven the need to narrow the gap between analysis and action.
In this session, you’ll learn how to:
- Move from desired business outcomes to actions that will drive those outcomes
- Change team culture to get buy-in for an action-driven mindset
- Determine what data story to tell for different departments, teams, or roles
- Know what KPIs are needed for each persona and how to get the right data to measure them
- Design your dashboards in a way that optimizes data for faster, better decisions
- Manage by exception and enable action no matter where teams are located
