One of the most important things to make time for at Domopalooza is the opening keynote, where you can hear best practices from business, sports, and marketing leaders across industries. They bring inspiration, education, and expertise to the main stage.
Here are three Domopalooza 2018 keynote speakers that we can’t wait to hear from.
Jay Brown
Jay Brown kickstarted his career in the entertainment business as a publishing executive at Quincy Jones Music Publishing/Qwest records. He went on to become EVP at Def Jam recordings from 2005-2008, working alongside CEO Jay Z. They co-founded Roc Nation together with Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith — a company heavily responsible for today’s popular arts and culture.
Brown went on to join the boards at Skullcandy, Stance, and most recently, Ember, Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, Masterclass, and WAG! Instant Dog Walkers. He currently serves as Secretary of the Board for the Clara Lionel Foundation, Rihanna’s philanthropic endeavor to improve quality of life for impoverished communities around the globe.
Phil Jackson
If you’re a basketball fan, you are almost certainly familiar with Phil Jackson. He holds the record for combined NBA championships with 11 and was inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame in 2007. Jackson has authored several books on leadership lessons and basketball strategies, including Eleven Rings: The Soul of Success with Hugh Delehanty and The Last Season: A Team In Search of Its Soul.
Omar Johnson
Omar Johnson served as VP of Marketing at Nike for six years, then as CMO at Beats by Dre. (He’s the voice behind the most successful Beats by Dre campaigns.) Currently VP of Marketing at Apple, Johnson is a marketing powerhouse, named “Brand Genius” by AdWeek in 2013. He has also worked with Kraft Foods, Campbell Soup, and Coca-Cola, and is known for creating deep connections and unforgettable brand experiences.
