About the
BEST OF YOSHIDA BROTHERS PRESALE AVAILABLE THROUGH DOMO WEBSITE. Their new “Best Of” release from Domo Records showcases their rich and varied playing styles, their ability to effortlessly traverse between genres and also to make one of the world’s oldest instruments sound brand-new. The disc features cuts from several of their landmark albums (including Hishou, III, and Yoshida Brothers, Vol. 2), as well as two previously unreleased compositions, “Saiun” and “Rising.” One of the album’s stand-out tracks is probably also one of the most widely-known, “Kodo (Inside the Sun Remix)”, has been featured for the past several years in a Nintendo Wii commercial. It has aired all around the world, turning on a whole new set of listeners to the sound of the Yoshida Brothers. |
KICK OFF PARTY: Domo Records will host a virtual bowling party with Wii game consoles and VERY large TV screens on MAY 12th, 2008 at the AQUA LOUNGE in Beverly Hills. Winners will walk away with CD's, T-shirts, tickets for the Yoshida Brothers El Rey Theatre show on May 14th or a Wii game console. DJ's will spin music and also play some of the new Yoshida Brothers release. And as a special treat, guests will have a chance to see a special Yoshida Brothers live performance that evening AQUA LOUNGE
